Sheep jaw with fern inlay statement necklace

£145.00

I hand foraged this sheep jaw from the moors of Pendle hill where i live. I carved, drilled and polished the bone, added an inlay of resin with a dried maidenhair spleenwort fern foraged from the walls of Clitheroe castle. The edges of the necklace are soldered with a silver tin and copper mix to create the organic look. One of the teeth was missing and is replaced with a quartz from my ethically sourced crystal guy - Crystal Will based in Hebden Bridge. The chain is alloy and the clasp is stainless steel. The whole piece is lead and nickel free. The chain measures 18 inches.
